    Hey Bad ltblue99ta,

    Just ran across your post on tech and see we have the same motor. Mines in a 2004 GTO. I have the same ticking you spoke of...worse than sewing machine.
    Did you find a remedy. Your post ended before you got an answer..typical on tech.
    My pushrods are hitting the heads but that is not the entire problem.
    Just curious if you found an answer. I hate the ticking.
