What type of fuel pump are you running?
    Thanks.

they give you two graphs, one is RPM, the other is MAP-i used the MAP graph for timing control-with the key on, engine off, the graph will read 14.7 or so-when you fire it up, the vacume pulls the MAP down to around 6,7, depending on vacume-take aprx 2"' of vacume to pull 1 psia-hi vacume at cruise, idle, you could ramp up your timing
as vacume goes away(WOT), pisa increases up to 14.7, so timing can ramp down-if running a 2 bar MAP sensor, graph will go to like 29-if running boost, then you go beyond the 14.7, amount depending on boost total
took me a while to wrap my head around it, just remember that there is actually always pressure in the air, 14.7(1 atmosphere), but most gauges just start at 0
your engine has 14.7 pressure in it, as everything else, not running
    hope all that makes sence

Hi, I notice alot of your posts concerning map sensor and timing with your 6ls msd and you procharged engine. I have some questions concerning this. I have a similiar setup and have timing locked out at 20 degrees, but i would like to have more timing cruising around for better driveability. Is there a way to use map sensor to retard timing? i thought i read that in one of your posts. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey I like your ride, I am working on a 69 malibu. I saw you mention a hydroboost setup in a thread, did you have to do much to get it to work with your car?
