Burkhart and Midwest chassis are in central IL. But both are mainly chassis/suspension shops i think. I don't believe either have dynos that i'm aware of.

I can not help you out with what is local to you, but I have been getting quite a few calls from folks in Illinois for quotes and tunes. I am on the NR side of Indy. It is about 3.5 hours from Springfield as a reference. If I can be of any help, just let me know.

I dont know where you located at in IL but your best bet would be to trailer it up straightline performance and have them tune it for you.

I used to go to R&T's when they were in peoria and canton but they have since closed shop. In the spring i'm going to need to get my tune all sorted out on the Trans am and am still undecided on who to do it since I have my own hptuners and laptop.

Otherwise at the moment noone in central illinois has a dyno to do tuning as far as i'm aware.

If you are just looking to dyno your car. Call Genes Automotive in Highland IL. Gene Zwig is the owner and I have used him the last 2 winters. I usually take my car over after everything is freshend up to make sure all is ok before I head to Ed Wright in tulsa to dyno tune. I am going to schedule sometime in the next month to try some ideas. If you jump on 70 towards St Louis and get off the highland exit you will see a big bus lot for First student with hundreds of yellow school busses. The school bus offices are in the back of the building and his New shop is in the Front. Very nice above ground dyno jet dyno. Its great you can work on the top of the car or the bottom without taking the car off the dyno rollers if you want to change some parts to refine your combo. He is extremely fair on prices and a super nice guy to work with. They also do performance work. I have never had anything done by them other than run the dyno but I have never heard anything bad about thier work.

Does anyone know of a automotive shop (Illinois, near Chicago) that can do electrical wiring on a engine swap. Engines already in the car, need someone to do the wiring side of it now.
Thanks in advance!
