RT 66 friday T & T, who's been this year?? .
Thinking about going to the T & T on the 26th.
How has it been this year, madhouse, lucky to get 2 pass' after waiting in staging for hours??
I keep hearing that they had a terriable year, and guys have been making more pass' then in the past.
Just wondering what we are in for, so I know if I should bring a book, or a pillow??

I always enjoy going there and have been wanting to. I haven't been there once this summer because my car has been in the shop since june otherwise I would have let you known how it is a long time ago. Actually I'm suppose to get my car back next week so I will be there if that's so. Well depending on weather...

Weather is looking good for friday, so I hope to make it.

Didn't you get the PM??
If the new vacuum pump gets here by Fri. I'm going for sure.
I fixed the intake, and just waiting on another pump, my set up died!!
Can't run without a pump or it's just going to blow out the seals again??

I made it, but ran like crap 1st pass, and broke on 2nd.
Only picture, I took myself then we were busy and my camera guys g/f was there so I never saw him all night??

It was a full run, but it did have a bogg off the line and slowed down to a 1.09 60'.
Normally it's a 1.07 and we were trying for a 1.06.
The DA was not great, so it ran about right where it should.
The 2nd pass was a complete flop firing on 7 cylinders, #7 plug wire broke internally and went cold.
Of course the place was packed, and I got there at 3pm and made my 2nd pass at 8.45!!
I did talk to several guys and to be honest, forgot your screen names, I'm old.
So to the guys that stopped by the trailer, I talked to in staging and the guys from the tunnel,
thanks for stopping by and it was nice BS'ing with you.
It's a shame the place is so close, and such a waste of time even going!!
I highly doubt we'll go to the last race, but who knows??

. I'll hopefully be at Byron on Monday and gonna try to make some passes at 41 too.

If you go to any other track, they pull the same amount of cars per lane.
They do not pull 65 cars from lane 1, 20 cars from lane 2, 10 cars from lane 3 etc.
A normal track pulls 6, 10, 15 whatever but the same from each lane!!!

Well supposedly the ownership had changed this year, but the schedule for the 2011 year was set up by the previous owner. I guess there will be "more" TNT nights, dedicated street car events, etc. 
I don't understand why the TNT's have to end right around 10-11 on a Friday night. If you've ever been to the place, you'd see the closest house is probably 5 miles from the track itself. Don't let the alcohol cars run past 10 and just let the street cars run really late in the evening. Problem solved!
