Looking for some fellow tech members in KS area Hey guys moved to Lenexa this week for my job and am looking to go explore some of the tracks around the KC area this weekend anybody. Cant bring my car down with me casue its currently under the knife at my former location but hoping to get the rest of my parts together in the next month or so and go home for a weekend and get it all put back together to bring it back. Let me know where some good tracks are to see some action...

Ic im staying in the old plaza hotel on metcaf till my apartment comes available in septemeber in lenexa. Wish i could bring my bird and tools with me but couldnt find any houses close to my office that had a gurage or someplace i can put my car and tools.

I know the feeling, we were in an apt for nine months until finally getting a house and I just got my ride down here a couple of months ago. Sold most of my tools and stuff too when we sold our old house. Makes working on the car a b*tch! Is the plaza hotel the one right by 435?

Yep it is that **** hole there on 435 and metcalf. I was down here earlier this year for signal school with BNSF and it was a different name. But the guy who runs the place is a complete pain in the *** so im roomin with a buddie from work cause i gotta go back to nebraska to work the gangs cause of my house loan with the USDA not letting me get another place...

That's what I thought, it's just down the road from where I work. That sucks about your loan, we had a USDA loan on our old house and it saved our *** when we had to short sell it.

'oo_z i got nitrous from a lil shop in north kansas city earlier this year and i cant seam to find there address. I wanna say it was on 5 street or something like that and the name only had a few initials there was a couple of other automotive shops in the same building but this one was a performance shop. Do you know which one im talkin about?

Was it Modified by KC? I think they go by MKC and moved to a new location at

MC racing was the name of it. Had a guy from Lee summitt PM me with the name of it. He also said there was a car show next friday at 135 and quivera that im gonna check out, tech9 is gonna be there if you know who that is. I dont...

Yeah he's a pretty big name local rapper.. tonight is the big f-body/mustang meet at Fosters Grille at 119th and Metcalf, I'll probably check it out after work.

Will do! I went up there for a little while and it was pretty cool but everybody seemed to know each other and were in groups so we just grabbed some food and called it a night. There was a pretty big turnout for the cruise afterwards I guess. Maybe next year..
