we've got a little group down in Charleston. we haven't done much lately, mostly because of winter and busy schedules. hoping we can make it up to champaign when the weather is a little nicer. here's our facebook group:

I'm barely in Illinois , almost wisconsin
But i have been in Antioch for 2 months, I guess my car will come out in spring.

How do you like Antioch? My grandmother lives there and I am up visiting usually a couple times a year. I normally don't have my car up there though because I usually go up with a couple family members.

i'm actually from McHenry, but i'm just down in charleston for school. i'll be moving to peoria in may, so i'll have to find new friends there!

I'm from Mahomet, we should do something like Cars & Coffee in the springtime. Champaign is a nice central meeting point for a lot of smaller towns. I would love to meet up with fellow LS1tech folks.

I'm from St. Joe, but I don't get to spend to much time in central Il any more. I go to schools down in Carbondale, and last summer and this coming summer I live in Detroit for internships.

i wanted to, but its a little too far south this time around. also, change in plans. i will no longer be moving to peoria. got dumped . of course i just got an interview at caterpillar too

I'm in Bloomington and Champaign a few times a year, but never in the LS1, alway in the work truck. If this thread keeps going and somethings going down in the summer when I'm in town I wouldn't mind checking things out.

I've gone two years and it's all ways a blast. There's one guy that travels all the way from Alberta Canada and a few from upstate New York plus others from all over the country.
