Come to Texas! It only gets about 100 degrees during the summer.

I've got family in Plano. I do love Texas, but in the summer, at times, its just as incapacitating as it is here in the Winter.

Droughts have been hell down there. However, with that being said, I'd still take Texas over Chicago.

Yeah seriously winters around here are terrible. It's not so much dealing with the snow and cold, but moreso the pain of not being able to enjoy the F body! Or whatever toy it may be

The cold sucks too. Takes me a few cranks to get the e85 lit and even then the damn winter blend comes in so I have to stock up like a squirrel when we head into the colder months.

Even if the cold bothers me, i'll never admit it. I was born in Chicago and we are supposed to take pride in our toughness haha

Are you saying your car runs better on summer blend e85?

I only run e85. I have a drum that i have kept full of quality e85 and haven't used any winter blend stuff. Just takes a few cranks to get the temps up enough for the e85 to burn properly. Once it fires over it purs like a kitten.

I'm on the same boat with ya'll about this lame weather. Even though I sadly drive my car all year round, I'm desperately waiting for t-top weather.

The cold doesn't bother me at all really. Born and raised here in Chicago. I just get super depressed during the winter and I am not pleasant to be around. I'm definitely more tolerable in the spring/summer. I'm going to be grumpy as **** if the rest of spring feels anything like it did today.

When the glacier melts off my driveway, I might have to think about pulling a car outside. I've got a few oil changes to do.
Looks like that won't be anytime soon.

Me too......I hate the gray skies. At some point, I will absolutely leave here!

Yeah I definitely lose a lot of motivation, energy and happiness over the winter. I try to stay positive and all! I just know that I am way happier when it is April through September. Wish spring wasn't taking forever to get here!

There's definitely plow trucks out right now here in SW MI.. Watching I-94 from the breakroom at work, cars are going by at 45-50mph.. and plow trucks are going by laying down more salt.......
