Default LS1 rebuild shop in St. Louis

Hey guys, Im looking for reccomendations for a shop to rebuild my LS1 short block. Im in st peters/st charles so something closeby would be preferred. Gonna need my heads ported/valve job in the future as well. Already left a message at P2 motorsports, just looking for other options. Thanks!

Nope never heard back from him. I had 2 people mention button automotive machining and did not get a warm fuzzy feeling after talking to the guy there yesterday

Last I heard was he only worked on week-ends by appointment. It's been a few years since he worked on my stuff.

+1 for CBI street cars, he does awesome work. He will go above your expectations and completely take care of you.

CBI tuned my car which is all I asked, he changed the oil because it was contaminated with fuel from wash down, changed my plugs to a better type for my application, took an uneeded resistor (that I thought I needed) off my ignition system for a stronger spark. I know so many people that have gone to him and always say the same thing. I really can't recommend anyone better.

I have also used Button automotive, they put together my short block. The guy who runs it is just a tough old guy. My car has seen 6500-7000 rpms for a few years now and it's still together.
