Default Reputable LS engine shops in the midwest

I have started doing some research on upgrading my WS6 motor since it started having some oil issues. I am thinking about cam, stroker, manifold, and possibly head work in addition to replacing wear items considering it has 81k on it. I am struggling to find a solid option to have this type of work done. I know a lot of members of this forum have modified engines, and I doubt all of you do your own work. Where have you gone for your engine work?

I am in Iowa, so I would prefer to go somewhere in the Iowa/Illinois area. I called WS6store, and it sounds like they do installs and tunes, but would basically use an external shop for internal engine work. Maybe working through them and their subcons is still the best option, but I am not sure how this all works or the best way to go about it. I have more money than time at this point in my life, so doing the work myself just is not an option. I can just keep pouring oil in it, but I figure that may not be the best long term option.

I can just find a local engine shop, but I don't know how much LS1 experience they have or their reputation. I would also probably have to find a different place to install and tune it. I appreciate any suggestions you may have for me.
