245/40/r17 tires fs in MI I have a pair of Continental Sport Contact tires that have a lot of life left in them that I have to sell. I bought them through ebay for $75 + shipping. I just want $65 to get them out of here. I bought them thinking that they would only be slightly shorter than my Bridgestone 245/45/r17's and it turns out the difference is almost and inch. I hate the metric system. I figured that 45 was the size of the side wall, guess it turns out that it's a percentage of the width. What's wrong with sizes like 33x12.5xr15 like on my truck? Nice and simple. So I guess I'm buying a set brand new tomorrow since my rears are bald.
