Default 2005 Hot Rod Power Tour hits Indy on June 6th

The January 2005 issue of Hot Rod Magazine lists Indianapolis as a stop for the Power Tour. They haven't stopped here since '98. The venue is Indianapolis Raceway Park, and the date is June 6th.

That's all I got, but I wanted to share it! I'm looking forward to attending.....

I went as a spectator in '98 when they stopped at the State Fairgrounds. That's not really the ideal place for a car show if you ask me, and the neighborhood isn't so friendly either. The turnout was poor. I'm glad to see that they're having it at IRP this time. I'm planning on taking the 'bird this time and signing up for the day.

You mean the Suds drive-in isn't good enough? I've never been to it, but I've heard a lot about it.....

Suds is okay but it is such a small place and they cram a **** ton of cars into the street and every where else they can. You really can't drive thru it, and forget getting anything to eat!

I work on the Eastside of Indy (I-70 & Post Rd.), so I'm not too far from that area.....just might have to do that
