you know..........no offense spanky. but i have a problem with people who do $hit like this. you participate in a giveaway, win, and only want to sell it. you've been on here long enough to know that there are a ton of guys on here who would love to have that hood, but don't have the cash to afford it. if you just need the money, that's one thing. but, .........awww forget it. i'm just ranting because i just got a free dvd from Walter E. Smith furniture the other day as my wife begged me for it, and now they are all over e-bay for 35-50 bucks, and some have several of them for sale. i just can't stand someone taking advantage of others generosity. not saying that you are, but IF you are, you now know how i feel. again, not trying to offend you spankmaster...

later,
Dave

good price by the way.

who says he has a use for it?

at the north vs south event in june I won a certificate good for $500 off the labor of re sleeving a block from race engine development and I'm looking to sell it. my raffle ticket i won with was part of my entrance fee to the event and i don't have the means to build a motor like that so I'd rather sell the certificate.

Nothing wrong with that IMO.

minty and SilverGhost- thanks.....

PRAY HRD- Yes I won it. Like said above, I intended to use it, and prbably still will. Problem is I have two aftermarket hoods here, a Glasstek 4" cowl, and the "SS" hood above. As you can imagine, fitting two hoods on a car can be troublesome. Seriously, I didn't mean to offend anyone.

Sorry I didn't mean to cause an uproar. I was just surprised to see you sell it. You seemed rather excited about winning it.

I am excited and like I said above, I'll most likely end up keeping it. I have two brand new fiberglass hoods sitting here, and one needs to go, and thought more people would be interested in the "SS" hood than the 4" cowl....

I PM'd you about that 4" cowl but I never heard back from you. I just thought you decided to keep it and sell the SS hood instead.

Yeah, I was going to measure but that was only so I knew if I could come get it right away or if I'd have to borrow my sister's Avalanche. Sorry about the confusion. I still want the hood though (4" cowl) if it's still up for sale. I'll send you a PM.

I'd definitely buy it as I'm in the market for a SS hood, but I live in NY...meet me halfway?!?
