What do you mean by installing t-tops? Changing a car from hardtop to t-tops?

Let's try the regional forum

I don't think that makes any sense at all, trade the car in on a T-Top car, whoever does it, it would be an expensive hack job.

A member on another board did it in his back yard and it turned out fine. The basic structure is already there. You basically just need the t-tops, center strip, headliner and a sawzall.

Sounds a little stupid to me. I'm not in favor of jacking up a nice hardtop to make a car with t-tops. Talk about killing the resale value on the car.

Sounds a lot smarter than demodding a hardtop, trying to sell it, trying to find a t-top car that fits the bill, and modding it again. It really isn't that hard. If it is done right, nobody will ever know it was a hardtop at one time. How will that hurt resale? Besides, if your only concern is resale...you should be driving a Honda, not an F-body.
