HAWKEYE CAMARO-FEST '06 Sat,. July 8,2006 The 3rd edition of HAWKEYE CAMARO-FEST (ALL CAMARO CAR SHOW) is coming to the campus of Des Moines Area Community College in ANKENY, IA on Saturday; July 8,2006. The show features 19 classes and will be professionally judged by the CYCLONE CORVETTE CLUB of Ames, IA
REGISTRATION from 8:00 am 'til 11:00 am ***COST $20.00 ***
JUDGING 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
AWARDS at 4:00 pm presented by the HOOTER Girls
AWARDS: CLASS CHAMPION TROPHY
All others in class scoring at least 90% of total points will recieve a
GOLD AWARD
Those scoring 89% to 80% will recieve a SILVER AWARD
Thosse scoring 79% or less will recieve a BRONZE AWARD

the Cyclone Corvette Club.....why on earth would you want a cyclone to be involved in anything? The only thing cyclones are good for is adding to the Hawkeye win column.

Update Just thought I'd update everyone on the latest HC-F news.
The first two registration forms have come in :
#1 2002 Dickie Harrell 427 ci 600+ horsepower
#2 2002 ZL1 Phase III 427 ci 600 horsepower (HOT ROD Magazine cover car in 2003)
We are also expecting several more GMMG Camaros to partisipate in the show !
The HOOTER GIRLs will be back again to help with awards ! !
Live music in the form of the band " EXIT 113 " will be on hand.

I'm sure that your phase 2X Hot Rod edition will be there, and maybe a few other GMMG cars in attendance too.
For you old school folks, the past 2 shows has brought in some excellent 60's Yenko & COPO Camaros. Camaros that just make you drool!
Definitely a show worth entering and/or checking out.

Sorry, no burnout contests or booze. The campus cops keep an eye on too much horse play. Check out the daily driver class or maybe the cruise after the show to "porky's" one of the upper midwests hottest cruise night destinations!!

The cruise destination spot (Porky's) does have some adult "shastas" on tap.
As for burnout's, you're on your own for that one. Definitely not encouraged at the show, not to mention, the police will have their presence in & around the area of the show.

Well..............tomorrow is the big day. Looks like we are going to have EXCELLENT weather. Hope to have a really big showing of super nice Camaros.
