All depends on where you'll be.

Northside: Great Lakes Dragway
Southside: US 41
Westside: Byron

Unless you plan on getting in more than a couple runs. I never went there because from all the people I talked to it sounded like you would get 10 max, but that 5 or less was typical and I have heard of people only getting 1 run the whole night because of them giving preference to faster professional cars and oil downs. IMO 41 is worth the extra driving time if you want to race. I usually get 20 passes or more a day, and last year they were $10 cheaper to race, haven`t checked this year yet though.

How about in Central IL... i would like to find a 1/4 mile track but the closest i can find is Coles County Drags, which is only 1/8 i believe, plus it's 2hrs. away. It'de be great if they added a track finder on here so people could search by state. I'm in between bloomington and springfield.

if you go to 66 get there before the gates open at 4 and you should be able to make it through the slowest tech in the country and get some runs in before it gets crowded. Otherwise don't bother. Nice track but I have had some horrible experiences there.

Get youreself a eti and you wont have to wait in tech. Went there yesterday and got 5 runs in no problem could have had more in if I wasnt cooling down and trying different things.

I'm not sure if this track is close to you?
