Last minute track day notice at Norwalk!!!! Just found out that there is going to be an open rental up at Norwalk on Nov 3rd. The weather is set to be good on this day. If the temp is right, in combination with their outstanding track prep, this could be a good day for new personal bests!!! I'm going to see if I can get my 10 second slip before the season is over. Today is the last day to sign up, so you gotta act fast!

Due to popular demand, we have worked out a race date with Norwalk Raceway Park on Friday, November 3, 2006. No weekend dates are left until 2007, and this is the last remaining Friday.
This will be a no frills private track rental, with the traction you've come to expect at IDD events. There will be no race classes, no bracket race, no awards and no rain date - just a test and tune session with killer traction.
Our cost is ~ $4,000 to do this right. By doing it right we're talking about Norwalk's famous 660' wall to wall VHT and dance floor rosin mixture - which will be repeated every two hours.
We are charging $50 per vehicle, nothing for spectators, and no refunds will be given (except in the case of a cancellation due to weather). Everyone is welcome, so please spread the word and feel free to invite anyone else you would like.

This is always a great event guys. Track prep is absolutely unbelievable for this event. It is definately worth the money. Also, the partying at the hotel is a good time too.

I just got word that its a go and they are accepting payments until the 31st. If you were on the fence you have a little more time.

Ray if the way Gimp was running like he was at 42 I think it will be very interesting.....you two are always fun to watch run together.... esp. the launch, but Im takin Gimp FTW with a hole shot

Hell ya! I am psyched.
I am set to get my new PB for this year. I'll up the N2o a bit and lower tire pressure. Yupp, I'm running street tires but I'm trapping 123 on a 100 shot.
11's have got to be within reach!
