Default Chicagoland, in the market for a stock LS6 Longblock 25K miles & new 918 springs?

Asking price $2,750.00 OBO.

Perfect winter project as engine won't be ready for pick-up until around the first of the year. The motor is in my 02 Z06 now which is pretty much low key the rest of the season and the buyer of the motor will have to pick up from FLP in Naperville, IL. Looking for local Midwest sale as i don't want to have to ship it and anyone who has $ in hand can here the motor run in my Z and check it out, etc.

Entertaining all offers at least $2,500.00 and don't bother with any offers under $2,500.00 and please don't make an offer unless you have $ in hand. Motor comes with new 918 valve springs installed only 2700 miles ago and this motor runs perfect and has given me 0 issues and oil changed approx. every 2000 miles since i bought the car 2 years ago when it had 12,750 miles on it!! Guy i bought the car from who now owns a C6 Z06 was SUPER **** in the upkeep with the car also!! The motor will come with stock Z06 pushrods that have less than 22K miles on them.

Also, to keep things simple and clear on who get first dibs/rights to buy the motor, the first person who comes up with a $500.00 deposit afer we come to an agreement on price, will get first dibs on the motor, with the balance payable b/f motor is picked up of course. Deposit to hold the motor is non-refundable unless i wreck the car or motor and cannot deliver it in the condition that it was, when at the time the seller came up with the deposit. This is really the only way to give a buyer the first dibs on the motor as $ talks and B.S. walks!!

Guys, we all know that the 2002+ LS6 Motors make great F/I motors for cent. supercharging, given the stock LS6 cam which makes a KILLER CAM for this type of f/i, and the good flowing LS6 heads, etc.

This would be a perfect motor for somebody to simply replace with forged pistons and rods for f/i with the new 918 springs already installed on the heads. Just food for thought for those Cent. Supercharging LS6 fans!!

GUYS, to put to rest some of your concerns I have decided to take the car to FLP as soon as they can get me in (probably a month) to get this done asap but we know they are very busy and currently moving.

In the meantime, the car is not going to be driven given the fact that I want to get the new engine in and my stock LS6 motor sold asap (without anything bizarre happening to the motor). If you give me a deposit and something bizarre does happen like the car and engine getting wrecked on its way to FLP you will get your $500.00 mailed back to you within 24 hours. I always have plenty of other old school classic muscle cars to drive for those few and far between 60 degree sunny days, namely my recently purchased 1970 DOdge Charger 440 and 1970 DOdge Challenger 440. Yes, i LOVE all AMERICAN MUSCLE cars, so there is no reason for me to drive my Z06 given the fact that winter is just about here and I want to sell this motor, so i can drop in the new forged LS6!

Motor is still available and first person to come up with the $500.00 deposit to buy the motor after agreeing upon a price gets this great STRONG running issue free, 26,000 mile stock LS6 motor with newer 918 valve springs on it.

Asking price remains at $2,750.00 and if you can pick up motor in person at FLP this motivates me more to sell to you as that is easier for all involved. That being said, i am sure FLP will help me get the old motor ready for someone's hired shipping coimpany to pick-up the motor from their facility and shipping motor (AT BUYER'S EXPENSE) remains a distinct possiblity.

Waiting to here back from FLP (have email into them) when they can take the car in!!

I so badly want this motor, but I'm waiting to see if I can get a hold of a roller S10 Xtreme to put it in, I should hopefully know by the end of the week. I'll keep in touch as I'm located out by Rockford and could pick it up.

HA! Playground of Power. HA! They need some updating to be considered that. Anyways with any luck I'll hopefully get to check out the truck this weekend. So I might possibly be interested in coming to check it out when I find out more.

$2,750.00 OBO and still available.

Guys this is a killer deal for a stock very well maintained 26K Mile LS6 Longblock with new 918 springs installed!!

ALthough i prefer local pick-up if the buyer ends up needing to ship this will be coming from FLP, Naperville, IL, zipcode 60564, and looks like it will be ready to be picked up by mid December.
