EGR & emmisions in Lake Co.,IN Anyone pass with EGR blocked off?I would like to get a LS6 intake but SLP want 150.00$ more for the one with egr port.If blocked off,who turned off SES and deleted c ode for good? Any ideas? Thanks

put the ls6 intake on and have the codes deleted by Tony at OUTLAW ------>. as long as you dont get a visual and the codes are deleted you should be good to go. took my 01 ss in and all they did was plug in to the obd,scan it, checked gas cap and i was gone.

thats exactly what i did, i put in longtubes and removed the air and egr and had outlaw remove the codes. they plugged it in and everything was a-ok! what town are you in? im from merrillville but im currently living in illinois going to uti

I'm in the poorer part of Hammond(Hessville) and Griffith is where I usually go.Last time, I had a '95 vert V6 and they sniffed and I believe they had mirrors for cats.But now with a newer car that has OBDII,I guess all they do is hook up to that!Thats great,the possibilites are endless!Although the money will run out before the possibilites LOL!!

Juiced96Z,there are 96 counties in In. and only FOUR are still doing emissions ...the four dirtiest.....Lake and Porter and I don't remember the rest.Read an article in the Times awhile back.
