just wondering why there was no sticky for the top 25 fastest iowa cars

Actually it got locked due to some members acting very kiddish. one guy was complaining about how iowa sport cars like to stay at home and what not and it went on from there. hopefully this one isnt going to get locked due to some people who cant act their own age.

I may be getting a 2000 SS with 10k on it sometime this week. Might need to break it in at the track. Anyone got anything planned? I will keep you all updated on the car. They will give me $8500 to trade my 99 Z in and could pick this one up for 10.3k. I think with only 10k on it, that's not a bad deal.

i was talking about how every other midwest state has 25 of the fastest cars in a sticky for there states wall of fame on the general page before this one.

I'm not near the fastest...I only went to the 1/4 mile once this year, ran 11.20s @ 122-125, I did run a 7.12 @98 in the 1/8 a few weeks ago. I am taking the dry kit off of the car, so no chance to better my best this year.

Maybe next year. ;)

Unexpected thing happend and i cant get an F body for a long while now. Thats life, my dodges tranny went out and the cost was more then the value so i traded it for a half ton chevy. i really like the newer front end chevy is going with.

I actually started a thread about getting together and hitting CFR on the 27th of October for the hallowild day. Its in the morning so track should be pretty decent with some nice cold air.
