We showed up at ribfest and sampled some of the good stuff. Lots of good food! Then headed over to halls, but it was pretty slow there. this was at 11 i think? Everyone got bored so we headed home....

It isnt fair to race the vipers, Both run 11.2 and 11.4 in the quarter. Hannahs is a little faster than mine, and quiet.. Without nitrous the loud one runs 12.28. The 03 for some reason is just fast and hits 11.4 all the time without nitrous..

Just come over Snapps durring the week sometime and i can do some changin on the car..

Its not broke! You just have to adjust your foot to the clutch pedal / floor board after a few runs.

Now we just need to get D's ride up and running so he can come play.

Thats fine I will call before I come up. I was wondering if I could bring you two more computers to tune. My wifes G6 GT and a friends 07 Sierra that tows his boat every weekend up to lake James. I am totally impressed on how my fathers 05 Sierra runs now that you cleaned up GM's mess

Rib fest was AMAZING.

You should honestly line it up against the Civic. It'll surprise you on the highway

I have been contemplating A4 so make sure you are available this winter and maybe we can get shocker to help out.

I am really holding out to see how Darren likes his Textrailia Clutch but he has to get that bad boy back together first . If anyone here is currently using a after market slave cylinder please chime in. I have replaced everything but my line from the master to slave and I am still having pedal issues.

Beast I want to see how that civic performs so put some race gas in and let her loose on the hwy!

Thanks

I'm scared to run this thing on race gas, it's only been done for 1 pull on the dyno just to say it did it. It's a handful to drive at only 415whp lol. I beat a GTS on pump gas on the highway back when I was on the 175/70-13 steelies so this would be a good match up as is

So how much power do you think you had before that happened?

What would be the more appropriate question, would be; "What power level could you have had if it were tuned properly".

(I don't mean to poke at you man, I'm just really upset that thing never got totally dialed in before it went on you)

WTF are you talking about Ben?!?!?!?! It was fully tuned! The tune had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS! In fact, it was quite rich according to the plugs that came out of it.

It had made 665 on the dyno before it went to the track.

I didn't think you had it fully tuned either. I thought you said you were still workin on it.

I was working on getting more power out of it, but when it came off the dyno the last time (when it made 66x) it was perfectly safe to run.

Regarless, the tune had nothing to do with what happened.

Yeah I wonder if it was just a bad casting.

That was major part failer not a tune issue... Any way you look at it that sucks. When you filled the block did you do that before or after the machine work and assembly. I heard you fill the block with top plates then bore... could it have had some side cylinder distortion from the block filler? Who knows let me know if you need anything
