Still getting the green weenie even after getting out.
So my EAS was April 22nd after 12 years in the Corps. I was involutarily seperated as a Sergeant. I qualified for full seps pay and all. I also sold back about 20 days of leave.
Come the Friday of 27th I still havent received my final pay, so I call our s1 shop. They say it should be a few more days. Cool.
Come May 4th, I still havent been paid. I call the s1 shop and again talking to the s1 chief. Well it turns out that disbursing kicked back my package and never told them. So it sat in limbo. They resubmit it. On the 8th Im told by my old s4 chief that disbursing accepted it and it should be 10 days.
Well now its May 21st almost a month exactly to the day I got out. I still havent received my final pay, my travel pay, my sold back leave or my early seps pay. I call the s1 chief again only to find out that disbursing sent my package back again and its apparently been sitting there for days....again.
Now Im waiting to hear back from the s1 chief again. Meanwhile my bike almost got repoed because I told them I was going to pay it off in full weeks ago. They literally showed up at my door to take my bike. I had the pay off amount in my account thankfully....but now Im pretty tapped and once again Im getting fucked by the green weenie. Its been a while, but they did manage to get me one last time...real good. Did I mention I have other bills I skipped this month with intentions of paying them off completely? I love telling bill collectors the same thing 27 times.

only deployed once in 2002...although my srb has no record of it, lol also did 3 years of recruiting successfully. I received an njp on recruiting for driving with a suspended license, which they made a huge deal out of. Also you have to pick up staff by 10 years now.
Aside from the njp Ive always ran 1st class pft / cft, rifle expert / pistol expert. Its just one of those things. At this point I could give a **** less about ever being staff, I would just like what they owe me so I can get on with my life.

not to play the bad guy, but by looking at your sig (and knowing nothing else lol), you think you may be a little over leveraged for a sergeant?
regardless of that, you of course deserve your pay. does your mypay acct show your final travel claim as processed? what about your final LES? anything totally off on it?
lastly, idk what your relationship is like with your old boss, but how about getting him involved? call me crazy, but any Marine of mine i consider mine for good, even if they pcs or eas, so if they had a problem i could put some fire on, i am there for them. to bn s1, you may just be some eas'd thorn in ther side, but to your boss you were a real Marine, worthy of s1's best service.
on a side note, have you been to dental at the VA for your free check? applied for any disability you plan to claim?
5811, thats nbc right? haz-mat units here in tx, from the local volunteer FD on up, are looking for trained people, so if you're looking for work in that field, maybe its the same where you are.

I own a restaurant, thats why I could really care less if I picked up staff or not. 5811 is MPs though. I have my old unit involved, the problem is that disbursing doesnt contact the s1 shop when they kick things back. **** just sits in limbo until someone realizes they are not getting paid. Its a complete horse **** way to run a business. I mean it actually happened to me twice, and the second time they told me disbursing had my package and already accepted it.

still remember, its a package deal. all the little elements gotta be right before kansas breaks you off the bread. the leave sold back, the final travel claim, all that has to be proper. you got copies of all your **** right? FWIW, you'd rather them get it correct now than come back in a year or two talking 'bout you owe them money, plus interest.

That sucks, about everything. We have a couple guys in my shop that are at that limit too except since they can't reenlist and haven't even been looked at yet, they can only do extensions in 1 year increments, either until they are looked at and pick up or get passed over OR they never get looked at and hit 13 and forced out.
I hope your pay stuff get taken care of, I would go crazy if that happened to me!

I think most everybody gets screwed by the military some how... I was a E-1 for 24 months and I never got back paid. Then they rushed me to E-4 (which is automatic at 24 months) and before I got out I got trash talked because I didn't want to re-up. I did my time and I'm glad I did but it was a train wreck! I hope you get it straight man, you def deserve your money.

I have no clue?! I kept say something everywhere I went and all they kept saying was that I must have done something at basic or AIT or jump school.... Nobody gave a **** is what it was. I was a hold over after AIT for months and the when I got out of jump school I got put in a leg unit. Really?! After they got me to an E-4 they were getting pressure to promote and I refused to study for the E-5 board and actually got written up with less than 2 months left in the army! I met a lot of good guys and served my country but that's the only good things I can say....

I think your first problem was expecting Finance to actually do their job. I don't know how it is in the Corps, but in the AF they have mandatory PT from 0800-1030, lunch from 1030-1300, mandatory training from 1300-1430, "work" from 1430-1500, then it's time to go home.
