Any of you guys been there recently? I was there almost six years ago for a week or so and it sucked, this time I will be there for a little while longer. What are the living conditions like, DFAC, gym, I guess all that type of stuff. If it matters I will be there on TCS orders, so I am hoping I won't be staying in the clam shells the entire time?

Place is ok I guess, depends where your staying at and pray it doesnt rain while your there.... that place turns into a mudhole. Last time I was there was in 08 . So 5 years exactly.

I am here now. Really hasn't changed at all since I was here in 08. I am kinda curious what they did with the old nice DFAC though?

lol tell me about it. Nope not anymore. On another note the food is just as shitty as it was five years ago. Oh well, not a bad deployment though. That's what I keep telling all the Joes. Could be worse, could be out in some po dunk outpost getting shot at on a daily basis eating MREs.

haha nothing has changed, other than the DFAC disappearing. It is like 08 all over again. Didn't we replace you guys up at Normandy?
