i've been here about 5 years and do the local track thing just wondering if there are any local hang out spots that isn't to riced out

We try to hit up the Advance on Raeford Road but the rice usually finds it's way there. I've been at Pope since '98 so I feel your pain. Probably be out and about next weekend, usually start in the Dick's Sporting Goods parking just for the rice entertainment, then move to another spot after it starts getting crazy.

Been at pope since 01 here, Like Bill said we usually start at Dicks and migrate when people start getting stupid.

yeah next friday there's going be one. i will probably go tomorrow also but not running i need to replace my slave cylinder. i have a silver t/a with all bolt-ons and 373 gears. best i've ran was 12.52 at 113 but i had 4:10's then and they broke on the way home. now i have the 3:73's and have not been able to run it due to clutch,trans problems.

I've been at Pope for about 3 years now, but just bought my SS last May. Its supposed to be beautiful track weather tomorrow. I'll be at the track running. If you see me there don't be afraid to say hi. Later

Let me guess...this is Arthur Clay isn't it?

My hang out is the Sonic on Hope Mills Rd next to Advance auto. Mainly nothing but older muscle cars and classics there, though the '79-'04 Mustang crowd is slowly trying to take it over.

Naw man, are you kidding me???? Working in an 47 year old green house like building that's been condemned.....working on old raggedy worn out equipment that should've been 375'd years ago....not ever having what you need when you need it....and being under the gun by a short egotistical pro super that loves to micro manage EVERYTHING...this place is paradise, are you kidding????
