Default What tracks are in the vicinity of Ft Huachuca(Sierra Vista) Arizona?

Movnig there this summer, be there in July and school starts August. I also need to know what days they run open street car, so I dont go on an event night etc... Not against 1/8th mi, but prefer the full gig. I am thinking Las Vegas is ~6hrs, thats not too bad, but I will mostly only have w/e off for the next year once I get there, so if they only run on Wed. I might have to shoot myself. If our track closing here wasnt bad enough, they couldnt even wait til I moved...the bastards.

Holy **** yes. I am in going to love it. A 1320' track w/in a 2hr drive, great. Of course the $ is more than I am used to here in Hawaii, but it would equal out if I only go once a month. I cant wait. Will have to pm you once I am on station, see when your going up and cruise same time if you like?

SIR was a nice track. Lots of space and well preped. I liked racing there.

You are going to have to get use to the High DA and Alt. Your car is going to feel like a dog. I remember reading about all these low 13 sec stock F-Body's. I ran a 14.4 1st time out. 2.01 60 ft. DA was like 5800 ft. On a 150 shot I ran a 13.1.

SO, you will have to be careful if you dive from Tucson/Huachuca area and then try to go to Firebird raceway. You'll drop like 0.6 10th (NA at least).

SIR was having all types of issues with the management and the TnT day on Friday. Hopefully they have that all figured out and it's worth going to again. There was also a program called "midnight Madness" sposored by the local police as a way to get people off the street and on the track for racing. Worked out really well.

Cops are nuts around Tucson man. Speedway is the hang-out area.

Hell. Let me shoot you a PM instaead of all this.
