Actually yes, its only a handfull of guys from each company outta the battallion.. but we're going on Rim Pac from June 16th - August 7th. I don"t know if you know what Rim Pac is or not, but it stands for Rim of the Pacific.. basically a bunch of training missions. Different companies are gettin split up between Hawaii, Australia, and Okinawa.. I'll be in Hawaii so I'm not complaining.. San Mateo is a nice area, are you a Combat Engineer?

Yeah, I live in the barracks back towards the motor pool.. I'm an RO, right now I'm attached to a line company but im trying to get into the snipers indoc.
edit: i was just reading that again.. i didnt know if you meant cruise as in deployment... or cruise as in f-bodys lol... im down for a cruise whenever I get back from Hawaii
