on-base haircuts BLOW!!!! holy **** dude.. i go in there with a certain hairstyle - OBVIOUSLY i dont want to change it when i just said i needed my fade back an just cut a lil bit off. how, in the seven deadly sins, do u go from my hairstyle - with a head completely full of hair, spiked in the front and a lil in the back, with sideburns - to a skin-tight style???!!!! are u kiddin me?! how hard is it to see that the new haircut doesnt look anywhere CLOSE to wut i had before??!!?!?!?!?! and the kick in the nuts is that she first said she was gonna cut a lil bit off first, just to make sure its wut i wanted, n if it was still too long, she'll just take more off... so wuts she do?! she cuts a *notch* skin-deep on the side of my head, then asks if its ok...then proceeds to say that its done anyways, so its gonna have to be ok..............!?!?!?! i was really tempted to not even pay for it.. i didnt ask for a hairstyle change..my hair was well within regs when cut properly..
i was here for 2 years an never had *that* bad of a hair cut..granted, some of them were kinda bad, BUT, they were bearable. THIS?! i look like i just came out of chemo treatment. ahhhh!H!H!H!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After 3 years being on post and then coming to a place that has no post within an hours drive, I`d have to say on post is the best place........I`ve yet to have my hairstyle turn out the same twice in a row, and I get mine cut every week at the same place, and every time they put the "changes" into the computer to make it the same next time......I just go with it

well, im glad im not the only one who has to suffer for this...this....blasphemy! its just irritating to feel like ur talkin to a brick wall..and now i gotta wait a lil bit before my hair grows back out. and yes, i got pwnz0rd

Kinda reminds me of the 1st haircut in boot camp, where they skin your head. I had hair to the middle of my back. Guy takes a swipe out of the middle, turns me around to the mirror and asks, "How do you want it cut?"

I just got my hair cut at the PX a few minutes ago while at lunch i was thinking of this thread the whole time.
I got done right as usual 5 on top 2 on the sides.

I always had the sideburns down to the lowest opening of the ear even back when I was IET, nobody ever gave me anything about it though. I guess it just looks right on me. 
I even went to the pro board and soldier boards with the sideburns.I had a first sergeant back at Ft Drum that when we did a weigh in he would personally inspect everyone in the companys mouth for piercing and would check every males chest for piercings. You stepped up to the scale where the weigher and 1SG were, gave the weigher your name and age, then stuck your tounge out, and if you were male you pulled up your Pt shirt. God help you if you ahd piercings and he caught you, youd be in for a bad time from then on.
