Default Placement of Navy Windshield Decals?

Hi guys. If any of you are in the Navy maybe you can tell me what side the expirations tag goes on. I have the one with the single date sticker instead of month and year separate. Also, any place to put it other than the bottom of the drivers side? I had them on my '94 Camaro 3 years ago and I remember them just floating out there. I hated that. I'm not up to putting them on any paint though!!

I always put it in the middle and on top of the windshield. Did this back when I was stationed in Norfolk, now again at NAS, Jacksonville. No problems.

Yeah. I may try that this time. Not sure. I also remember I put it in the path of the wipers without thinking!! That didn't go well. Can you tell me which side the date goes on? I think it's to the right? If not, I'll just go in tomorrow and let the Pass and Decal guys do it.

That's the problem. They don't issue those here. It's either of these two for me.

If thats the case then i would say the 1st one but i don't think i matters. I'm an MA so if it was like that i wouldn't care. you can always call pass and id and just ask them if they have special instructions for it since thats not normal. Where are you stationed??

Up here we have to put them either top center or driver side bottom. I belive the ones you have have to be the same way. I saw a few from other bases like that and they were all in the same spot.

It's so non-standard, I don't think it matters.

One of my cars is like this:

month - big blue DOD sticker - year
-blue sticker-

My other car is like this:

nothing - big blue DOD sticker - month over year on one sticker
-blue sticker-
