Buddy graduates on the 29th Friend of mine graduates from USMC boot on the 29th at SD. Comes home for a little bit then back to 29 Palms for Infantry.
He was asked if he wanted to take a presidental guard spot and he turned it down (don't think he plans to stay in longer then his 8).
They told him he had to loose a little weight when he got there (maybe 20 pounds). It will be interesting to see what he looks like come next week.
Im sure he will be in the sandbox or mountians no to long after school, he will go first chance he gets.

I PM'd one of the DI's there thats on here a while back and gave him his info and all that.... wonder if he got any extra attention 
We were talking at work the other day and one the guys was former Marine and he knew a guy way back in the day during boot that got sick and puked all over his DI.....
Keep in mind this was back in the day..... before a lot of the rules
