Try the "Spooky" with piston engines.
We have people from every branch on the birds I work on.
One guy is signing up Air Guard TACP and this new guy spoke up and told him it was a waste of time and he will make more as a civilian and he hated the NAVY ect ect.
I wanted to crawl into a hole and hide because the room was full of retired millitary, former millitary, or current millitary and it was not pretty hahaha.
Just glad two other guys were not there that day, one of them a former Green Beret with battle damage.
It stays fun and games with everyone else.

The AC-130's are just downright nasty aircraft!
Not a good choice to say those words in a room full of current & prior military! I hope he had a seat close to the door lol.

my buddy is in boot camp for the army right now(infantry) and we used to argue before he left my point was ARMY - Aint Ready for the Marines Yet. he got pissed. n you cant compare the AF with the marines/army cause were a different ball park, army and marines are the most closely oriented branches. another buddy i know is going to be a seaman, enough said there. so it all goes back and forth

Yeah the AC-47 was initially fielded in Vietnam in '64. While Huey gunships had been flying since '62.
The AC-130's are just downright nasty aircraft!

WOW, I thought spooky was older then that, hmmmm.
He was very far from the door but only one person spoke up and one guy left before he was about to knock the guy out.....
REALLY glad a engine guy I know was not there...... I would have felt sorry for that kid.

Hog has a donkey dick of a cannon on it, something the mosquitos can't lay claim too. Every JTAC I've ever talked to would rather have that in the air than a Mark-82 any day of the week.
