just graduated Marine Corps basic What up brothers, my name is Jeremy Terry and I just graduated MCRD San Diego on April 18th. I am a PFC and I have been posting on this forum for a long time but never even noticed this section. I am loving it so far, just wanted to say hello though. OORAH!!! Semper Fi til I die!! Post up bros and tell me what yall think about life in the military and how having a fast car in the military is. I know I have alot of spending money now because I dont have any bills no more and a steady paycheck, so Im thinking it will be pretty easy to build some cool rides.

yeah well that fast car can also help you lose some rank too. so be cool with it. other than that if youre single im sure u will have a lot of fun. im married but i lived in the barracks for a few months. its ok but gets old real quick. hope u enjoy iraq.

Im a single Cpl living in the barracks, been doing it about 3 years, and yes if you manage your money correctly you can have nice things, I think one of the most important things you could do is start saving money for when you get out.

Yeah, Ive been pretty irresponsible in the past but thats the lifestyle I intended to leave by joining the Corps. Im just kinda excited now that I dont need a daily driver and I can actually enjoy life.

what is your MOS? like it has been said, save your money and dont be stupid while in or your gonna make your time hell.Im a Sgt and live in the Barracks, well i have a bed there. i dont really live there i like to keep busy and out of the barracks and off base as much as possible

congrats i'm with everyone here fast cars can cost you rank. just be smart about how you drive. as a pfc w/no bills you should be able to save a nice chunk of change. don't go splurging on **** you don't need. and what ever you do don't be a gear queer as in buy high speed **** you're not going to need. young guys like your self like to have a lot of sexy gear but depending on what your MOS is it's going to be a waste of money. so what is going to be your MOS? by the way nice third gen in the sig
