Hey guys I thought I would share this video my friend Ben ( call911 ) throw together of a couple of cars we took to the drag strip this week.

I have been building this 1998 camaro z28 4 years now and have been slowly adding suspension parts and making changes from its first pass of a 11.96 over three years ago ( damn budget ) for a close friend Mike V. He has never really even signed on here more then to read stuff and get ideas so im posting this up for him to share his progress.

Combo New Best time is a 10.93 @ 123 with a 1.47 60ft time

ported ls6 243 heads
crane cam 228 232
crane rockers
ported fast 78mm intake
Edelbrock headers
Factory 98 single in single exit with electric cutout
Yank 3800 stall
built 4l60e trans
Racecraft front suspenison and steering
BMR all rear suspension and subframes
QA1 single adjustables
Bogarts with 28 11.5 15
Moser 12bolt with spool and 4.11 gears


My car is a 2002 trans am ws6 that i have just started to build this year its mostly a street car so I havent gone to crazy at this time but here is my combo
New Best 11.69 @ 122 with a 1.69 60ft time not on video



stock heads w/crane dual coil springs
Ported ls6 intake
Lingfelter Ported throttle body
Crane custom grind 236-242-609-600-110lsa spec'd by JPH and Myself
ARH headers 1 3/4 race with race y-pipe
Corsa catback
Bilstein hd shocks and struts
Eibach pro kit lowering springs
Stock 10bolt with 3.73 gears and moser cover
BMR rear LCA,T-arm,L.C.A.R.B., and Panhard bar
UMI Boxed subframe connectors

I saw you guys out there, I was going to say high but my wife was freezing and required attention. You guys were definately leaving nasty and running some GOOD times!

Mine was the black TA with welds. I am pretty sure I hurt the motor at IRP a few weeks ago but I took it to muncie and confirmed it the car was only going 112.5

Damn, I like how to guys put tape behind the rear tires to keep the rubber from sticking back there.

I wish I would have thought of that.

Now I have to find a way to remove that **** from there.

Good videos and fast cars you got there.

Its Cool yea it was pretty cool.. your car looked super clean. Thanks Yea it was fun both cars were running pretty good. To bad about your car
