Arrow Photo Shoot - Cyber Gray Z06 on HRE Wheels

It finally stopped raining in the Houston area, so I ventured out today and snapped some photos of my 2009 Z06. I recently put on the HRE 893R wheels. They are color-matched to cyber gray, and have a silver pinstripe on the lip. They came out a shade darker, but look very close in direct sunlight. 19x10 fronts with 285 tires, 20x12.5 rears with 345 tires. I went with Nitto Invo tires, same ones I have on my Viper. It makes an appearance in the last few photos.

Enjoy!
Tony

That's definitely my favorite color on the Z06. Nice touch with the wheels too. Be honest, which ride do you like better, or is it too hard to pick?

I bought the Viper as my weekend toy. Always wanted a blue/white coupe since the first ones came out in 1996. With 675 rwhp via supercharger, it is a lot of fun. I bought the Z06 for a daily driver. It rides smoother, has softer seats, cool electronic gizmos, quieter exhaust and cabin noise, etc.. I purposely went with a darker color and darker wheels to attract less attention in the Z06. Corvettes are pretty common around here, another good reason to daily drive them.

It was fun rolling around taking pics. We need more hobos though with 9 second challengers. LOL

Awesome cars and nice shots. Call me crazy but I liked the stock wheels better heh... but then again, I can't afford either of those cars.

That's pure beauty. I saved every single picture and made one of them my desktop background. Hope that's cool.

The height actually looks pretty damned good on the street. How much lower are you from stock?

Great pics as usual. Can't wait to pick up a used 30D this week.

It sits about an inch lower than stock. It is as low as the OEM bolts will go. I'll lower it a bit more once I move into the new house without the mountain sloped driveway I currently have.

Where are you buying the used 30D? I've considered selling mine to get a 5D.

Off of a member on Texas Photo Forums. Also try Canon Digital Photography Forums. Should sell quick with all the amateur serious Rebel owners (like me) upgrading.
