Are you going to turn the boost up?

I guess I thought it would make more power.
I am not a pro but I was thinkin it has more if its a built 408.

(thats the exact setup I want when I get rich, so I guess I hoped it would hit 650+)

sounds great!

7lbs is just the very begining. If it did 650 now imagine double the boost.

Nice job!!!

For 7.5lbs of boost it's an impressive number on a Mustang dyno. In order to turn the boost up to 15lbs or so it'd take a very pricey fuel system, so we'll wait til the customer gets the bug for more power. The car currently has 68lbs of fuel pressure for most of the pull, and the 60lb/hr injectors are at 106% duty cycle, with fuel pressure falling off to 50lbs at 6500rpm so bigger injectors are not the only thing that's needed.

thats sweet. I have a 02 z06 im putting a d1 on. I also have a similar intake setup with fast 92 and fast rails, except i put my cross over in the back and had to cut on the cowl pretty good, no more windshield wipers. nice build

didn't realize it was also on a mustang dyno!!
nice!

make sure to post when the inevitable bug strikes and he springs for the fuel upgrade..that could be very interesting.

Nice #'s, but why the hell would you put 60lb injectors in that motor? Especially if he plans to upgrade??

With proper fuel pressure 60lbers will support 800+rwhp on our dyno, so larger injectors without changing the fuel system would not have done anything. It was the customer's call, we did what we could within his budget.
