Talking 120+ mph Kart racing vid from this past weekend

heres a vid from this past weekend at Mid Ohio Sportscar Course

the two guys in the vid are were behind me running 2nd and 3rd before i broke

im the number 44 kart, and the guy who spun on the 2nd turn was my dad lol

What are the engines on those things?

I'm not positive but I think they're modified 2 cycle dirt bike engines that run on alcahol or race gas.

negative on the bike engines batman lol

they are italian motors, Parilla TT75 100cc engines

they do however run 125cc and 250cc moto engines. the 250s can turn out 160mph at Daytona International

on sundays unlimited race i was racing against a 250 twin and a single 250

heres a pic of a 250 twin (its 2 125cc cylinders together) they can put out about 100 rwhp

LOL oh ok. Well I was a little close. The reason I was thinking of modified 2 cycle engines is because the one I saw at my local Kawasaki dealer had one for sale with a built KX250 engine on it. But I'm thinking a prilla racing engine would be a little better. he he he
