Good lookin truck & definitely a Sleeper! Is everything plug n play for the swap engine to trans, harness?? Any custom modification? What size is your trans & what oil pan you'll be using? & will it be possible to drop in a Ls1 or Lq4/9 to fit??

Pretty much all ls based motors will fit in. Most of it is straight forward. Plus they have a 5.3 available in the 09 and up

Yeah. I've seen the truck. Sweet Coly. Way more money put into his truck than I could ever justify putting into mine. Lol. I thought about picking up a 5.3 for mine, but it sucks already in northern Indiana winters and that's only with the 3.5, couldn't imagine how bad it would be with a 5.3. Ha.

lol though honestly the 3.5 in mine with intake, exhaust, and a mild tune still isn't too bad for what it is.

Swapped out the oil pickup since I have to use a LH8 oil pan (colorado/canyon/h3) since the silverado one won't work, and the oil pickup was too long so I had to use a LH8 one. However I did get a new windage tray but I saw no need to swap it out.

LH8 pan, it will be staying the cast aluminum color

and another reason why I can't use the pan
