This is just a mock up of my next El Co. I photoshoped all the images again the car, motor and seats are not mine. I got the seats and the engine off a post from here. Hope I don't offend anyone. *shrugs shoulders*

I can dig it. I'm not largely into the big wheels but to each their own. Would be a neat car.

Yea I'm not much of a chrome guy either... just didn't feel like changing the wheels on this one. maybe another day. But I am thinking about this shceme...who knows i might change my mind in the next hour. lol

Leave the accents in the seats but I say leave the dash and door pannels all black. Looks far to tuner to have them painted. I like it otherwise.

i like it,this is one car that can pull off the look, rims look killer, i was always a fan of gold rims, when we where younger we all had gold daytons lol, thats what was big when we were young

I agree, subtle accents to carry the color scheme turn out better more often than not. Start off slow, and add more color one piece at a time. It's easy to go overboard and you can always go back and add more later on if you're not happy. Either way sounds like a fun project!

I agree also..... after looking at it a few times i felt something was not right or either missing. I think its the panels. I will remove the orange on the panels and check it out.

Thanks all!

Maybe try leaving just around the outside of the door? That might look good and wouldn't be in your face all the time.

I think it might actually look ok if you painted just the door pull handle itself and nothing else. Maybe not. It's tough to really say without seeing it done. I wish I had photoshop so I could play around with ideas like these.
