Well then the writing is on the wall, 1 guy had a bad run with a ZL1, Chevy should just cancel the whole project. That way the hundreds or maybe thousands of non driving GT 500 owners can feel better about their over priced, overhyped, overpowered, under performing pieces of crap. I seem to recall GT 500 sucking so much and all the FIRD girls would come here tell us oh you just need this or that and tires "and then watch, it's a 9 or 10 sec car". The ZL1 needs 1 mod, DRIVER mod FTW! So take your 650hp, turn it sideways, and shove it straight up your candy A$$.... Just some opinions and facts:guns:

I think a lot of you are missing the point of this, GM over hyped this car just like you guys say the gt500 was, GM stated how amazing their launch control was and it was designed to make the worst drivers as good as the good drivers, well that's just not the case and it is proven here. Obviously based on the numbers the ZL1 should be a lot faster and it will be with a great driver and sticky tires just like the GT500 is.

Stop the shit talking on both cars/brands, just be happy we are living another horsepower war between American cars!

both of these cars are over hyped. BOTH.
they'll both run great numbers. with someone that has a clue. the unfortunate fact is that 90% of the people that buy either of these cars will be just like the schmuck in the op video. they'll wonder why they can't turn the times that were advertised.

Neither car is overhyped. They are both going to be smashing cars that cost almost twice as much....think bmw ect ect. Think of them more like a baseball bat, any idiot can swing it, but having skill will get the full potential out of it.
