2011 C6 ZR1 vs 2013 GT500
I Didnt see a thread about this race I think everyone will enjoy it..
Air filter/Tune 2011 C6 ZR1 made 535rwhp on Mustang dyno (around 560-570rwhp dynojet
Pulley/Tune/CAI 2013 GT500 somewhere between 650-700rwhp from what I've read at SVTPerformance
Enjoy
60-150mph

Jeeze a ZR-1 with a filter and tune only made 535? I was hopin they made more then that stock.
I hope chevy steps up and makes the camaro and vette more powerful then the gt500. I think that is a pipe dream though.
Oh well

Agreed. Although I think the GT500 would have its work cut out at any speed.

Anyone know the aero drag on the new GT500? I know the ZR1 (0.36) sucks, not sure where the new GT500 stacks up.

I think the ZR1 is making more and the GT500 is making less than they said, there's about a 450lb difference between the two (~3400 on the ZR1 and ~3850 on the GT500). Going off the 535whp and 700whp numbers the GT500 would have about 0.86lbs less per HP than the ZR1.

The outcome of this run seems very realistic.

I will say though pretty badass for a $60k car vs $100k car. Still prefer the ZR1 alot more though.

To clear some things up...
We tuned the gt500. It made 680/722 on our superflow.
Its making 700 ft/lbs by 2800 rpm. I don't think the roll speed matters too much in this case, the torque curve (plateau?) is nuts. Had to roll into the throttle in 4th gear on the dyno to keep the tires from spinning...

Found on another forum that the '13 GT500 was making 680rwhp and 722rwtq. It produced 700lbs-ft at 2800rpms
