Default C5Z06 HRE Photoshoot

The year is winding down up North, and I'm trying to make the most of our beautiful sunsets. I have been talking with HRE and (with any luck) this car will be on the HRE website. I needed to take a few pictures featuring their wheels - these are the results. Enjoy the pictures.

What type of camera do you have? Using a HDR setting or something? Everything just POPS very beautifully, it's badass!

They were shot with a Nikon D80.

They are all shot as HDR photos. I'd say most of the pictures that I posted have about 5 different exposures that have been blended together to get the final product that you see.

When you say blending 5 different exposures, are they blended with some software like Photomatix, HDR efx or something similar or are loading each exposure into photoshop and masking etc? They look really good and not overdone like most people do HDR, so I am curious.

Exactly - you've got it. When I had a PC I used Photomatix. I now use HDRtist since I'm on a Mac.

I add a very subtle amount of HDR "strength" in the program - enough to make it 'pop', but still keep it realistic - then export it into Lightroom and make some more tweaks.

I'm not big on overdone HDRs, but I quite like the results I can consistently get from my shooting and editing technique. It takes some time in the editing, but I feel the results speak for themselves.

Here is another example:
