First G8 in the 9's!
 

Meet up with a guy from Kyhorsepower today at Beech Bend and man was I not expecting this from a G8!



Now to slow things down a bit... okay a lot, here's my 95 Z28. Longtubes, CC305 Cam, 3.73's, ET Streets, automatic.

Not actually a first there is a guy with a car built by livernois that hit 9's earlier this year but he tried keeping it very hush hush since he says he street races for money.

yea it blew my mind, car was wicked fast , it was a great day to race at beech bend, i would have loved to see the fabrication work on that thing , it went stright as an arrow suspension was set great too, no wasted motion , I am envy, tried my hardest to get n the tens that day , back to the garge till spring lol

holy shit!!! Im over here debating on a v2 cts-v and after seeing this, which could be had for half the price, definitely gonna be looking into this car. Is that a G8GT or a GXP model? also anyone happen to know the specs on this setup? I see a few of the comments on youtube, and seems to be a stock bottom end running a supercharger?

G8GT 6.0. Is cammed D1SC 10psi and 175 shot TH400 swap. Car has gutted interior and a cage since i think all he does is just trailer it to the track. Other little things as well.

CTSV Are running 9s with almost full weight I remember your car was in mid 10s full weight on mid 600 right?

Yep stock bottom end, he says its around 800hp.

Yea my car was 668 on the 4.0 pulley but ran my 10.5@134 on the 3.7 pulley so im sure around high 600's to bottom 700's.Full weight expect for the drag wheels.
