Coyotah vs ls

Chris25 03-29-2019 08:05 PM

Hio you be rocking them e3 plugs to give you that competitive edge.....

spikestang 03-29-2019 08:37 PM

Nice video, I won't spoil it for anyone else, but dang they were impressive numbers. A lot more than I was thinking, on both engines.

SoFla01SSLookinstok 03-29-2019 08:43 PM

Cool vid.. but. Why in the heck would you post that in this section hiho? You know there's a dyno section on this site? Are you mad or something?

snake95 03-29-2019 08:53 PM

Desperation level: 100
Real world asswhoopings must have him feeling insecure, thus leading to him posting this in SRK

sxc Z28 03-29-2019 08:57 PM

results are as expected

HioSSilver 03-29-2019 09:33 PM

Coyotah got punked.....as expected

HioSSilver 03-29-2019 09:38 PM

I stumbled across it and ended up in the live chat. The furd guys were talking shit about the ls losing a head gasket on stock head bolts mind you. Then all of a sudden the coyotah lost way more than a head gaskets. The ls woulda lived FOREVER where the coyotah failed.

I think the ls may have made more tq than the coyotah did hp. The ls just flat wore it out......wasn't even close.

There's nothing funnier than when you get backed into a corner about LS stuff losing so you post dyno videos, after you call certain Ford motors "dyno queens". Could you possibly flip flop any more?

Meanwhile, on the same note, after EMC stuff you were crying so badly that you needed a life jacket and a raft.

Goal post moving is fun, see kids!!

:rotflmao:

And thanks for further proving your lack of understanding regarding what HP is, LOL!

BlkMach1 03-30-2019 05:31 AM

F1R "overspun by 20000 rpm" on 427ci motor vs Smaller F1A-94 barely touching max blower speed on 5.0 at 8000 rpm. Not saying coyote wouldve outpowered it but difference shouldve been way smaller.

HioSSilver 03-30-2019 06:46 AM

Well it's not like the ls peaked yet either.

When the gap is that large even if your both dyno queens you just got it broke off in your ass.....this wasn't even close.

As far as emc goes the furds lost on power there also.

The coyotah lost in the 1st ls3 vs coyotah na challenge to.

Looks like you fail to understand tq and the fucking YUGE gap the ls had over the coyotah. The ls made more torque than the coyotah did hp......tq IS power son.

Mike Morris 03-30-2019 08:54 AM

I am surprised. Na Coyote is overrated but with boost I thought Coyote would have slight edge.

Kinda hard to spin it when the coyote decided not to work anymore lol

Next round they will implement another restriction on the ls by making them run the same blower. Which will mean more boost for the coyote than the ls will get.

I never have figured out why people think that. The engine that makes more hp na is the more powerful engine period. If you double the atmosphere and have everything equal as far as efficiency goes the gap will only get wider......at no fucking point is the coyote gonna say "oh look I'm magic wif muh boost". They are both air pumps.....nothing magical.

The coyote needs to be boosted just to keep up with a proper na ls.

01CamaroSSTx 03-30-2019 11:12 AM

We all love hp&tq period and most enthusiasts could care less if it was FMC, GM or Mopar. But somebody just had to compare these engines to one another and the results are really no surprise here.

HioSSilver 03-30-2019 11:15 AM

The furd guys was surprised.

SoFla01SSLookinstok 03-30-2019 11:24 AM

What surprised me was when I heard they used stock head bolts on the LS. They had to know they were playing Russian roullete there. And boom. Lol.

sxc Z28 03-30-2019 11:33 AM

Lasted to damn near 1800hp before lifting the head too lol
