Well, I used to host vids....but look what my buddy got in his email box....

"Dear xxxxx,

Our check of your bandwidth usage for the month of july, shows that your account
is 1438.57 gigabytes over the limit set for your account (limit for silver plan
is 40 gigabytes)

Your choice is to pay the charges for the above mentioned bandwith usage --
which would be $8631.42, or close your account

You have 48 hours to respond to this email or you account will be closed

Reread it. They want to charge him $8631.42 for using 1438.57 gigabytes. He is allowed 40 gigs.

I agrea he is getting of easy by not being forced to pay

i doubt they'll let him off, the probaly mean "close the account, pay and leave our service"

Just got another email from him this morning. He isn't going to pay them and they aren't going to close the account. Lets see what happens.

sounds like a cell phone bill lol, once you go over they bend ya over, that sucks man but if they gave you the option to close and walk away thats what id do
