ENJOY... :drive:

Race results :

Race 1:

30 MPH roll, we ran from a set marker, i gave this to the Z06 by no more than 1 foot.

Race 2:

I missed 2nd gear (Good job i was in the L/H lane, otherwise i'll have been toast)

Race 3:

30 MPH roll, Lambo won this, appears to be a good car or so ahead.

Race 4:

30 MPH roll, Z06 Missed 2nd gear

Race 5:

30 MPH roll, Lambo won this race by a car length, maybe a bit less.

Race 6:

50-60 MPH roll, Z06 got me on this one by a car or so.

Nice video idea except for the following-

1) You can't tell who is winning half the time.
2) The camerman is constantly having seizures.
3) Both drivers hit the brakes almost every single time they get on it.
4) The 'Vette driver seems to miss more shifts than he makes.

Otherwise, it's perfect. :jest:

I wish the camera car could have been closer. If you hadn't told us it was a Lambo I wouldn't have been able to tell.

IT'S EASY IF YOU'RE:

"granny shiftin' not double clutchin' like ya should."

:secret:

fbj69 Aug 15, 2004 10:56 PM

ls1hybrid Aug 16, 2004 01:33 AM

I do not think that camera man should be blamed. Step on your FBody and see if your head snaps back.

How do you think the rest of the in-car video's on here are done? I've taped a couple races from inside a 10 second car, and I can keep it pretty well focused. Do I get snapped back in my seat? Yeah. Does it mean I point the camera in another direction? No.

StoleIt Aug 17, 2004 09:45 AM

its called perspective! any race is usually crap from being taped directly in the back. But id rather watch a bad video of a lambo than no video of a lambo! Nice race anywho, where was that highway? Looked very very nice straight and empty...
