plastic bottle, fill half with dry ice, half with water...shake, throw.

Let me tell ya how we do it where i come from.

Use a 3 litre bottle, fill her about 1/3 up with dry ice and fill the rest with coke, or something that has more "fizz" to it. This basically acts as a shorter fuse. Now put cap on and shake violently. Drop in local trash can in the high school bathroom just as the bell rings so no one sees(keep in mind we were in h.s.). Evacuate blast area. Hell go ahead and get out of site completely. Now... if you got good at learning what mixture will yield what kind of time before detonation, you could pretty much cordinate the time you walked into class and sit down. The hard part is to sit down and anticipate it...seconds seem like minutes, minutes feel like hours. But when that "boom" and it do mean BoooooOOOOOOMMMM! finally comes, its totally worth it. Just try to keep a straight face :D

my boss's son did that at work about a year ago. he had a hugh welp on this leg, dumbass. Still it was funny. I was the one who showed him how to do it. lol
