Default Cool Porsche picture I came across on the net

I always liked Porsches. They never "fixed" something that wasn't broken and always kept the fundamental Porsche look.

Nice, a whole row of RS America cars. Those are all worth big money. Basically the equivelent of a GT3 by todays standards. It's a light weight, higher performance 911. It was a little bit less expensive than a Carrera C2 back then, worth more now though. 240-ish hp, and did 0-60 in around 5 seconds I think.

Got any more pics?

Really?! I was wondering what RS meant. Very interesting facts!

Yeah my dad has always been into Porsches. He's had 5 or so of them since the 60s. He's still got his '72 911E Targa w/ 52k miles on it. Fun cars to fly around it, but it's not very forgiving. The new ones are a whole lot easier to drive. Especially since they are going AWD with a lot of them.

I used to work at a Porsche race shop called Series 900 Coachwork. The owner has a few bad *** rides. He actually recently picked up a '93 RS America car that was hit in the left rear for about $17k. Before that was a C2 race car. $120 thousand worth of car that fell off a trailer. Picked it up dirt cheap off the insurance company and has been running on the street for a couple years. Probably the most incredible car I've ever been in on the street.

I should head up there one of these weekends and take a couple pics of what he's got up there. Some crazy stuff if you're interested in the cars at all.

Ahh no way? I caught it just as they were showing the Mercedes SLR. Was it that same episode? Can't believe I missed it... They had a biker build off show with Billy Lane making a bike in memory of Indian Larry. But then I missed the end of that because I saw Top Gear was on. I got screwed on two accounts..
