Wow. That's the first time I've ever seen that happen. I've never been comfortable driving on a dyno for just that reason.

that was on Streetfire.net also, with the caption:

"1200 + horse Model A almost launching off the dyno. The straps were touching the exhaust and melted."

i bet the guys standing in front of it 'shat' their selves...

That happened at the Car Craft Summer Nationals..was insane to see. Shortly after that they zoned off the dyno area and you couldnt even get close to the dyno..
