Default H/c Gto Vs H/c F-body

My buddy and I were on our way back from the track and never got a chance to line up. He was trapping 118-119 all night. We raced few times and I'd pull away each time in 3rd and 4th by a little. Here is one of the runs from first gear through 3rd gear. It ends up being a 20-100mph run. Both of us are running drag radials so the cars are hooking up from a 1st gear roll. Sounds like the car is on the bottle how fast she goes through the gears though. Tell me what you think. Enjoy the vid

Let me get this straight, the SS has 440RWHP and you have 447RWHP, and your car weighs more and you won???? Is he a bad driver??? Just can't understand why the SS lost??

ya thats me in the SS, I Don't like making up excuses, ya lose ya lose, but i know having the stock rearend 3.42's and the goat having 3.91's big difference. That race u saw was the best one because i started from a higher RPM, When i raced him earlier i was at a way lower RPM and he was at a higher RPM more in his power band because of the 3.91's he pulled almost a car and a half, The car is such a dog in the lower RPM range. Moser 12 bolt with 411's coming real soon then will see a difference. Gears are everything.

Yeah I guess, bc i figured with your lighter weight and nearly identical RWHP, you would have pulled on HIM!!!!!!!

ya know i see what your saying about the weight thing between the two cars but how come i've pulled a higher MPH then him at the track. And then on the street its different....who knows.....its weird. All i know is both cars are fast and thats the cool thing about it. GIT-R-DONE

12.7 @119 you should be running a lower ET with that mph try lauching at 4000 rpm and you should be in the low 12's to high 11's

On nitto's w/ 440 RWHP I ran a 12.2 at 115 w/ 1.90 sixty foot. Also it was hot as hell, bad day for power. Also, track prep sucked like always. I'm still on stock rear w/ 3.42 (Easy Launches). Almost everyone at the track was .3 to .4 off there normal times.

my best time at the track that night we raced was 12.3 @117.5 with a 2.1 60' and yes it was hot out also.
