That is a sick srt-4. Looks like if he shifts alittle sooner in first he will run alittle faster.

WS-Sick Feb 12, 2006 03:32 PM

Nice.

Basic mods are:
Fully built engine + Mopar Stage 3R + 50 shot NX wet.

Boost is being controlled using a MBC and an AGP S3 WGA w/ a 19lb spring.

What does this mean?

AGP S3 WGA w/ a 19lb spring.

Sorry not up with the SRT4 lingo.

Nice times. What gas was that ran on??? C-16 probibly. Full slicks too??? What about weight reduction. I saw a carbon fiber trunk right???

AGP = AGP Turbo (http://www.agpturbo.com)

S3 = Mopar Stage 3

WGA = Waste Gate Actuator

The car is equipped with an AGP Turbo's Waste Gate Actuator for the Mopar Stage 3 turbo. This allows the car to run more boost; normal S3 cars run ~22-24psi, this one runs ~27-29psi.

It was on a mix of C16 and pump gas, but IMO it didn't need it. It dyno'd ~415whp on pump gas (91oct crappy Az gas) without the nitrous and 500+ with the nitrous, still on pump gas. The car also has water injection which helps keep knock under control.

As for weight reduction, it has some minor things, Carbon Fiber Trunk & Hood, and the rear seat was out (mainly to reduce the complexity and cost of the roll-bar.) It still has a full interior from the B-Pillar forward, complete w/ power windows/locks. The car hasn't been weighed, but the guestimation is that it's about 50lbs lighter than stock. So not a significant amount of weight redux.

wow, thats a fast little shit box, j/k... how much $$ was put into the car total?

8ALTNG Feb 14, 2006 12:11 PM

Nice. That thing must be pretty light from the factory. I wonder what size turbo that is??

2850 is the factory weight. Estimate is the car in the video weighs ~2800lbs or ~3000lbs w/ driver.

The turbo is the Mopar Stage 3R Turbo (TD05HR-15GK2-10cm2 Turbo).
