Hey guys with no disrespect to cobra owners i would just like u guys to post up vids of ls1 killing cobras in any form wether the ls1 be turbo, s/c, or nitrous, or n/a. just all out any vid of an ls1 killing a 03/04 cobra so to start i will post up this vid of a turbo ls1 killing a modded cobra got the vid from somewhere off the net its not me nor do i know these people and it might even be a repost but here goes anyway:

hate to rob your thread but what other mods would i need to hang with or beat a 03/04 cobra?

Depends on what the Cobra has. If it's stock a few bolt ons will suffice. If it's got bolt ons/pulley it would take bolt ons and a good cam setup. Bolt ons/pulley/ported eaton would take a really good heads and cam, nitrous, turbo, s/c, or any combination of those. If it has a Kenne Bell supercharger, An LS1 would probably need at least 550 to the wheels.

well with my setup as is(mods below) how would i suffice? I plan on getting a TSP 228R cam in the future...how would that suffice?

As your car sits you shouldnt have a problem w/stock and mildly modded 03/04 cobra's, with a cam you should be able to hold your own against some others, but like stated above, after they go with a pulley & a ported blower etc. and even better for them the KB cobra's you'll need a heck of a head/cam combo, and then most likely a power adder to keep up with the best of them...but....most of the ones i've come across are mildly modded, there will always be someone faster. But again as you sit i wouldnt worry about stock ones, or intake/exhaust cars, if you race them go from a dig, the IRS on those cars makes them a lil tricky to launch and keep the tires from just spinning.

the second vid has a silver 03 with similar mods equaling about the same 480-490 rwhp,I knew these folks so this wasnt a guestimate.If they had been a little better on the light and driving skills they could have beaten me. 420rwhp N/A back then.(you can also see I wasnt launching for shit)
