i am the bodyshop manager at a chevy dealer. there is a recall on 05-06 corvettes. some require changing and some will need to be repaired. if you own a corvette 05-06 you need to take it to your closest dealer for inspection :)

GM is supposedly issuing a recall or TSB (I forget which one it was exactly) as apparently this is becoming a bit too common to call it an isolated incident. Supposedly the roof of more than a few C6s have come flying off and they're not necessarily related to speed. There's an article about this over at Autoblog. I'll find it and post it.
